Inviting
Inviting is the process of automatically inviting target users to Telegram groups or channels. Inviting programs work through the Telegram API and allow inviting users by username, phone number, or ID. Inviting is one of the main methods of attracting an audience in Telegram marketing. For effective inviting, it is necessary to use several accounts (multi-account), proxy servers, and observe Telegram limits to avoid blocks.
Parsing / Scraping
Parsing (scraping) in the context of Telegram is an automated process of collecting information about users from groups, channels and chats. Parsing allows collecting usernames, IDs, names, phones, activity and other data for further use in marketing campaigns — inviting, mailings and targeted communications. There are several types of parsing: by group members, by channel comments, by geolocation and by keywords.
Checking / Account Verification
Checking is the process of mass verification of Telegram account status. Checking programs determine whether an account is active, whether it has a spam block (temporary or permanent), whether it is frozen for rule violations, or completely blocked. Checking is critical for maintaining a working pool of accounts: it allows timely removal of non-working accounts and redistribution of load to healthy ones.
Spam Block
Spam block is a restriction from Telegram that is imposed on an account when suspicious or mass activity is detected. There are two types: temporary spam block (Temporary) — removed after a few hours or days, and permanent spam block (Permanent) — almost impossible to remove. Spam block restricts the ability to send messages, invite users and join groups. To minimize risks, anti-ban systems, account warming and limit compliance are used.
Account Warming
Account warming is the process of gradually increasing activity on new Telegram accounts to increase the level of trust from the platform. New accounts have a low "Trust Score" and easily get blocked with mass actions. Warming includes: subscribing to channels, reading content, sending messages in private chats, participating in discussions, viewing stories. The warming period is usually 3-14 days depending on intensity. Deskgram 2 automates this process with a built-in warming module.
Multi-Account
Multi-account is an approach to Telegram marketing where multiple accounts are used simultaneously to scale operations. Multi-account allows distributing the load between accounts, reducing the risk of blocking individual accounts, and significantly increasing the speed and volume of work. Professional programs support working with hundreds and thousands of accounts, grouping them by roles, folders and tasks. Deskgram 2 supports an unlimited number of accounts with automatic load distribution.
Proxy Rotation
Proxy rotation is a technique of automatically changing proxy servers when working with multiple Telegram accounts. Telegram tracks IP addresses and can block accounts working from the same IP. Proxy rotation solves this problem by assigning each account a unique IP address through a proxy server (SOCKS5, HTTP, MTProto). Quality proxies (residential, mobile) significantly reduce the risk of blocking. Deskgram 2 supports all types of proxies and automatic rotation.
Anti-Ban System
Anti-ban is a comprehensive system of measures and technologies aimed at minimizing the risks of account blocking during automated work in Telegram. Anti-ban systems include: simulating human behavior (random delays, different activity patterns), proxy rotation, device fingerprint uniquification, automatic activity reduction when risks are detected, intelligent limits and much more. Deskgram 2 has a built-in next-generation anti-ban system that analyzes behavior in real time and adapts the strategy for each account.
AI Commenting / Neural Commenting
Neuro-commenting is a technology for automatically creating comments in Telegram channels using artificial intelligence (ChatGPT, GPT-4 and other LLMs). Unlike template comments, neuro-commenting analyzes the content of a post and generates a contextually relevant, natural comment that attracts audience attention and looks like it was written by a human. This is one of the most effective promotion methods in Telegram — comments attract subscribers from popular channels. Deskgram 2 is the only software on the market with a full neuro-commenting module.
Mailing / Mass Messaging
Mailing (mass mailing) is the automatic sending of messages to a large number of Telegram users in private chats (Direct Messages). Mailings are used for marketing campaigns, notifications, invitations and sales. Professional programs support: personalization (name substitution, variables), spintax (random text variations for uniquification), media sending (photos, videos, documents), scheduled planning and detailed analytics.
Auto Funnel / Sales Funnel
Auto funnel (auto sales funnel) is a pre-configured sequence of automatic messages that "guides" the user from the first contact to the target action (purchase, subscription, registration). Auto funnels work on triggers: when joining a group, when sending a specific word, after time has elapsed since the previous message. In Telegram marketing, auto funnels are one of the most effective audience monetization tools.
Geo-Parsing / Location-Based Scraping
Geo-parsing is a method of collecting audience from Telegram based on geolocation. Telegram allows finding users and groups located near a specific geographic point (the "People Nearby" feature). Geo-parsing is especially useful for local businesses: cafes, shops, services, event marketing. Geo-parsing programs allow automatically scanning various locations and collecting a user base tied to a place.
Telegram API (MTProto)
Telegram API (MTProto) is a low-level programming interface that allows creating full-featured Telegram clients and automating actions at the user account level. Unlike Bot API (for bots), Telegram API provides access to regular user functions: sending messages in private chats, joining groups, inviting users, viewing content. The Telethon library (Python) is the most popular implementation for working with Telegram API. Deskgram 2 is built on Telethon and uses Telegram API directly.
Bot API vs Userbot (Client API)
Bot API is an interface for creating Telegram bots with a limited set of functions. A bot cannot initiate a dialogue first, cannot join groups on its own and has many limitations. Userbot (Client API / MTProto) is automation at the level of a regular user account. Userbot can do everything a regular user can: write first, invite to groups, comment, etc. Deskgram 2 uses the Userbot approach via the Telethon library, which provides maximum automation capabilities.
Telegram Limits / Rate Limits
Telegram limits are a set of restrictions that the platform imposes on all accounts to prevent spam and abuse. Main limits: number of messages per minute/hour (20-50), number of invitations to a group per day (20-50), number of group joins per day (5-20), number of contacts that can be added. Limits vary depending on the account "age", its Trust Score and subscription type (regular vs Premium). Professional automation programs configure delays and limits for safe operation.
Spintax / Spin Syntax
Spintax (Spin Syntax) is a text recording format with variations that allows generating many unique messages from one template. The syntax uses curly braces and the "|" separator: {Hello|Hi|Good day}, {name}! Each sent message will be unique, which reduces the risk of being identified as spam. Spintax is widely used in mailings to bypass Telegram anti-spam filters.
Account Converter
Account converter is a utility that converts session (authorization) files of Telegram accounts from the format of one program to the format of another. Different programs use different session storage formats: Telethon (.session), Pyrogram (.session), TData and others. The converter allows seamlessly migrating accounts between programs without the need for re-authorization (sending a confirmation code).
Channel Search / Channel Discovery
Channel search is a function for automatically discovering Telegram channels and groups by given criteria: keywords, topics, number of subscribers, activity. Channel search tools allow finding platforms for advertising, competitor channels, thematic communities for audience parsing. Deskgram 2 includes a similar channel search module that finds channels with similar audiences.
Telegram Marketing
Telegram marketing is a direction of digital marketing related to promoting business, products and services through the Telegram messenger. Includes: creating and managing channels, attracting subscribers (inviting, advertising), communicating with the audience (mailings, auto-responders, auto-funnels), analytics and optimization. Telegram is the third most popular messenger in the world with over 900 million users. Deskgram 2 is a professional tool for comprehensive Telegram marketing automation with more than 25 modules.
