SX.org offers residential, mobile and datacenter proxies. Deskgram 2 has a dedicated provider for its API. You can check the balance, request proxies and add them to the app's database. Existing connection details can also be imported manually.
Connect the API
- Obtain an API key in your SX.org account.
- Open the API settings in Deskgram, find SX.org under proxy providers, enter the key and save.
- Open the proxy addition dialog, select the API tab and SX.org. Check the balance using the button next to the key.
- Choose Create / retrieve, proxy type, protocol, country and quantity. The Geo button loads location options; available countries and cities depend on the provider.
- Retrieve the proxies, inspect the result and choose Add to DB. Then assign the saved proxies to the intended accounts.
In the current interface, Add to DB makes another API request using the form parameters. It does not simply save the preview. In creation mode this may create more ports and charge your balance again. To import a specific existing port, use the port list/search modes or manually import its connection details.
Connection and port modes
type_id offers ROTATING and KEEP_CONNECTION. The separate port_type_id setting selects DEDICATED or SHARED. Connection persistence and port allocation are different settings.
Test a port with one account before assigning it more widely. An IP change may interrupt a running connection. Check session duration and rotation rules in the SX.org account; the mode name does not promise a permanent address.
Automatic replacement
SX.org is also available in the automatic proxy replacement block of Deskgram's main settings. Set the provider, type, protocol, location, port options and maximum attempts separately. Saving the API key does not enable replacement by itself. Check the expected balance usage before enabling it.
Troubleshooting
If API access fails, check that you entered the SX.org API key rather than the account password. If a city returns no proxies, try the country without city or region filters. If a retrieved proxy is not used, confirm that it was added to the database and assigned to the account. For dropped connections, check rotation, rental expiry and port availability.
