Removing Administrators from Telegram Channels with Deskgram 2

The Removing Administrators module is the reverse side of administrator assignment. Use it to centrally revoke access after a campaign is complete or when you need to audit and clean up channel management.

1. Select the owner and find channels

1. Select a working account that can remove administrators, normally the channel creator or owner.
2. The application connects to the account and loads the channels and groups it manages.

2. Find current administrators

Select a channel or group. Deskgram 2 then loads the current administrators for that destination. Review the result carefully and select only the users or bots that should lose access.

3. Choose the removal mode

There are two main scenarios:

• Demote only: remove administrator permissions while keeping the user as a normal member or subscriber.
• Remove from channel: revoke administrator permissions and remove the account from the group or channel entirely.

4. Monitor execution

After configuration, click Start and watch the Statistics tab.

Avoid these mistakes:

• removing administrators without rechecking the selected list, especially useful moderators or service bots;
• applying removal across a large network before testing on one channel.
